Five Levers for a New Citizenship in the DRC
Promoting a new citizenship founded on mutual respect, altruism and honesty is one of CongoMagis’s priority social objectives. But how can this ambition be translated into concrete action?
1. Raising awareness through publication
Widely disseminating accessible content on the basic values of good manners, courtesy and solidarity, through regular publications like this one.
2. Supporting young people
Contributing to the improvement of structures for the social support of children and young people, drawing on the pedagogical skills of our members.
3. Including vulnerable groups
Supporting the emergence of structures that make daily life easier for people with reduced mobility and people with disabilities, too often overlooked by public policy.
4. Leading by example
Every member of CongoMagis commits to embodying, in their professional and personal daily life, the values they publicly defend.
5. Intergenerational dialogue
Creating spaces for exchange between generations to pass on a critical and constructive memory of our shared history.
